Address in Slovakia after entry: when must you notify the police?
If you are staying visa-free and your hotel, landlord, or other accommodation provider did not report your stay to the police, this must be done within 3 business days after entry. This is separate from the dočasné útočisko application.

What to prepare
- · Completed and signed Hlásenie pobytu / Notice of Stay form if your accommodation provider has not reported the address
- · Your exact accommodation address in Slovakia
What to do step by step

First ask your hotel, hostel, landlord, or other accommodation provider whether they already reported your stay to the police

If not, complete and sign the Hlásenie pobytu / Notice of Stay form with your actual address
- 3
Deliver the original signed form to the locally competent Foreign Police department within 3 business days after entry; if sending it by post, IOM recommends registered mail

Do not confuse this notice with the dočasné útočisko application — it does not grant temporary protection
