Czechia ZDP 2026: how do you register for the special long-term residence?
Short answer
If your IPC account shows that you meet the ZDP conditions, you can register from October through 31 December 2026 and book the required Ministry of Interior appointment.

What to do step by step

Log in to IPC with electronic identity and check the evaluation result.
- 2
If eligible, complete the online ZDP registration.
- 3
For a joint household, the household founder registers all members.
- 4
Book the Ministry of Interior visit and prepare for the check and biometrics.
Important
If you did not express interest in the required period or the system shows failed conditions, the standard 2026 registration route may not be available.
