Czechia and Reserv+: what is required for temporary protection after 5 August 2026?

This is not a blanket rule for every Ukrainian. Czechia links it to applications submitted from 5 August 2026 and to people aged 18–60 who are subject to Ukrainian military obligations.

Short answer

According to the Czech Ministry of Interior, affected new applicants must prove compliance with military obligations. The required proof depends on age and status; a Reserv+ screenshot alone is not sufficient.

What to do step by step

  1. 1

Check the application date: the new condition applies to applications submitted from 5 August 2026.

  2. 2

For affected people aged 18–22, the official instruction requires Reserv+ registration and a printed eVOD.

  3. 3

For affected people aged 23–60, the official instruction requires a printed eVOD with the relevant military-obligation information.

  4. 4

At the appointment you may need to demonstrate that the eVOD is current directly in the app.

  5. 5

If your case does not fit the standard path, escalate it instead of guessing.

Important

This requirement is profile-specific and should not be copied automatically to another EU country.
