If a service refuses the card because of the old printed date, open the current OIF notice confirming validity until 4 March 2028
Important
Checked 29 September 2026: OIF cites Government Decree 196/2025 (VII. 8.) and confirms menedékes card validity through 4 March 2028 without a separate exchange solely because an older date is printed (the OIF validity page still has a leftover 2027 sentence).
